Solutions include:
Our principles of best practice We are proud of our software development practice that ensures the software we deliver is what you want and expect and is delivered on time and within budget. Our practice is based on five guiding principles that inform our software development process:
Work starts when our analysts develop a Unified Modeling Language (UML) model of your business processes - meticulously documenting your existing system to understand your current and future business needs. At this point functional and technical specification documents are completed and signed-off by you - to ensure the proposed solution will meet all of your expectations. This planning, in conjunction with prototyping as necessary, ensures the solution starts out on a solid footing.
Once the planning and design phases are complete construction begins. The order that each UML use-case will be taken through the construction and testing process is identified. Each use-case is written as a self-testing component and, depending on the size of the project and deadlines, will be finished before the next one is started. This enables everybody to see exactly where the project is up to in the development process. As the use-cases are completed they are assembled into the final product and its system testing harness. We encourage you to use these incomplete versions and give us early feedback. Once the last use-case is finished we can start a full system and integration test. When this is finished the software is presented to you for acceptance testing and sign-off while we complete the documentation. We believe that Cymbiotix has a robust software development process that
produces reliable, scalable and easy to maintain solutions on time and
on budget. | |||||||||||||
